Ladies Reading Circle Exhibit

Meet the fascinating women who met as the Bastrop Ladies Reading Circle but did so much more than read and gossip. For over a century, this group of local women have spearheaded institutions that we still appreciate today such as the Bastrop Public Library, the Old Ferry Park and even the Bastrop County Historical Society. Explore their stories and their times through artifacts and images at this special exhibit in tribute to the 75th anniversary of the museum.

The exhibit will be on view from January 8 until February 26. Admission included with museum admission.
