Step inside Bastrop’s history this holiday season during the Historic Homes Tour, one of the community’s most beloved and popular traditions.
From 12–5 PM on December 12, the public is invited to explore four historic homes and one historic church, each offering a unique glimpse into Bastrop’s past. Discover the stories behind these treasured buildings, from their architecture and former owners to their connections to Bastrop County and Texas history.
Decked out for the holidays, each stop will welcome visitors with local volunteer docents who will share the fascinating details, stories and surprises that make these historic places special.
Whether you’re a longtime Bastrop resident or visiting for the first time, the Historic Homes Tour is a wonderful way to experience local history, beautiful architecture and the magic of the season.
