Two Lights for Tomorrow | Paul Revere’s Ride Commemoration

Join us as we celebrate the momentous night that sparked a revolution! In anticipation of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America in 2026, our community is coming together to honor this historic milestone with a day full of meaningful activities and a spectacular evening reenactment. On April 12th, commemorate the night that changed history by taking part in a community commemoration of Paul Revere’s historic ride. Each business in downtown Bastrop will be given a lantern symbolizing the lanterns that Revere saw from the Old North Church steeple that spurred him on to warn his fellow countrymen that the Redcoats were coming!
