About the event
The holiday season officially gets underway in downtown Bastrop with the return of Downtown Bastrop’s hugely popular Wassail Fest on Friday, November 28, from 3 to 7 PM. The Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center is excited to join the festivities and invite visitors to make the museum part of their holiday tradition.
During Wassail Fest, participants can stroll through downtown, sampling wassail recipes from participating Main Street businesses and voting for their favorite. The Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center will be one of the stops along the way, serving up its own festive recipe for guests to enjoy.
But there’s even more to discover at the museum that evening. Wassail Fest will also mark the opening of the museum’s holiday exhibit, offering visitors a first look at the seasonal display while they warm up with a cup of wassail.
