About the event
Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center is honored to be a stop in Downtown Bastrop’s Dia de los Muertos Celebration on November 1st from 6-8 pm. The festivities will include delicious food and beverages from local restaurants, traditional face painting, live music, and an Honor Walk where everyone is invited to honor a loved one by walking down Main with a photo or memento of a passed loved one. One stop will be the museum’s Dia de los Muertos exhibit of ofrendas from local families. We also invite visitors to leave notes remembering loved ones at our community ofrenda.
